Cookies
This page explains how roiq.no uses cookies. In short: we use as few as possible, and none for tracking, analytics or marketing.
Contents
01What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used, among other things, so pages work, are remembered, and load faster.
02Which cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function, be secure and load quickly (for example caching and basic operation). We set no cookies for analytics, marketing, profiling or cross-site tracking.
To fill in: list the actual strictly necessary cookies the site sets (name, purpose, duration), or state that none are set for anonymous visitors.
03Cookieless analytics
To understand how the website is used, we use a privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics solution that sets no cookies and does not identify you as an individual. The statistics are anonymous and aggregated.
04Why we show no consent banner
Under Norway's new Electronic Communications Act, in force from 1 January 2025, active consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies — and cookieless analytics — we do not need to obtain such consent, and therefore show no consent banner.
05How to control cookies
You can delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working properly.
06Changes
We may update this page. The current version is always available here, with the date of last update shown at the top. See also our Privacy Policy.
